The mission of the District Nine Medical Examiner's Office is to serve the public and the judicial needs of Orange and Osceola Counties. The office performs quality and efficient medicolegal investigations to determine the cause and manner of deaths as mandated by Florida Statute 406.

• Our Business Office operates Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Death Calls are received 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Forensic examinations are completed daily.
• Autopsies are performed from 8:00 am to approximately 3:00 pm, 7 days a week.

If you are traveling south on Orange Avenue from downtown Orlando:

1. Make a right on Columbia Street.
2. Proceed 2 blocks and make a left turn onto Lucerne Terrace.
3. Proceed 2 blocks and the

   Orange County Medical Examiner's Office is to the left.

If you are traveling I-4 east bound:

1. Exit at Kaley Street and turn right (east) onto Kaley.
2. Proceed to Orange Avenue and make a left turn.
3. Proceed to Miller Street and make a left turn.
4. Proceed 2 blocks to Lucerne Terrace and make a right turn.
5. Proceed 2 blocks and the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office is to the right.

If you are traveling I-4 west bound:

1. Exit at Kaley Street and turn right (east) onto Kaley.
2. Proceed to Orange Avenue and make a left turn.
3. Proceed to Miller Street and make a left turn.
